In Dean’s History we have occasionally run other frame materials for out mountain bikes. Aluminum, Carbon, Stainless, you name it. We tinkered with the idea of running a classic from the past in good old Steel and we have a sample for sale. We have worked with a lot of collaborators in the past, and in this instance it is no different. In prototyping this frame, we worked with the team at Neuhaus Metalworks and Yang Manufacturing to work out the processes of fabricating steel frames in with the added efficiencies of additive manufacturing. They did a great job helping us work our some of the processes.
