TITANIUM

At Dean Bikes we use the finest titanium (Ti) available: USA Made 3/2.5 Seamless, Cold-Worked, Stress-Relieved Grade 9 Ti.

A PROPER FIT

Every frame is handcrafted, one by one, in our Boulder, CO workshop. We precision cut every tube with machine tools, ensuring a proper fit in our frame fixture. After the building process, every tube is hand-filed and cleaned prior to welding.

OUR WELDS, YOUR FRAME

Every frame is initially root (fusion) welded in our precision aligned fixture. After the root (fusion) weld, our highly-trained welders make a 6/4 titanium rod cap pass. On every Dean bike you are assured the most structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing welds.

PERFECTLY ALIGNED, EVERY TIME

Once the welding process is complete, every frame is aligned to a 1.0mm standard. Each frame must also must pass our strict D.Q.C. process before entering the finishing, assures only the straightest frames pass through our doors.
